About time management

Time management tools, strategies and software are also useful for goal-oriented managers in the corporate environment, right? If you are in your retirement years programming, is nothing but a waste of time (no pun intended) to focus even an ounce of energy for time management skills? After all, time is the only thing you very much, right?

Not exactly. Even in retirement, you still want to get the most out of your day. Management of time happens to be one of the most valuable skill with which you can leave work to have a successful retirement. If you have not yet mastered, there are many advantages to begin today.

Here’s why: The fear of no longer be necessary, or the sense of accomplishing not everything can be stressful in retirement. To compensate, there can be a natural tendency to ‘think’ a bunch of things you want to do. Without good management capacity of the time, most of these things will not see why the light of day. You’ll postponed tend to think that there is no tomorrow… until too many tasks to build and become overwhelming. This will inevitably lead to frustration, a sense of emptiness, instead of achievement, and also missed appointments with friends and family.

However, your personal life in retirement, how can it be successful as your business life if you practice management strategies of time. As such, it is extremely useful to learn how to organize your day, how to schedule your time in order to achieve more without feeling overwhelmed.

A daily or weekly ‘To-Do’ list is still value in his retirement as it was in the office environment. The reason is that you do not want to trust your memory to keep track of things that should be committed to paper and ink. In addition, to play always in the form of a profile of tasks is necessary to track to see where he is spending most of your time.

• an activity log to track the activities (for how often you want to track them – daily or weekly)

• the habit of scheduling important events of your life (in particular leisure – because contrary to popular belief, all your time will not be leisure) and,

• a sense of its priorities so that we can assign an obstacle at a time all the tasks that you want to achieve that are important to you.

Do not forget to remain flexible. You’re doing is no longer present to climb a staircase or to prove your competence.

There is no need to plan every minute of every day of your life. But at the same time be aware that playing with the most precious of all you have left. Rendono count.
