Clean your case !

There is nothing wrong to leave spills, dirt and stains on your computer. After all is not that what is the case, to protect electronic components from spills and dirt? This is true, but there are still parts of this case which must be cleaned and checked if you want your computer to live a long and prosperous life.

If you do not like dirty look every time you look at your computer, you should go ahead and clean those spills, stains and dust the closure of the case. You can do this with virtually any fabric and clean. Do not use highly abrasive detergents that could ruin March or the surface and not use solvents on the plastic. A wet sponge even work. Just make sure that the cleaner or any liquid does not seep in through cracks inside and ventilation openings. If there is no possibility that you intend to get that messy, turn off and disconnect your computer and wait before any liquid again until he had a chance to completely dry.

After you have cancelled the outside, it’s time for a while ‘inspection. Look at the blades of the fan in the back of your computer. Even look at any mouths. There is dust? There’s a lot of dust and grime to caked with it? If so, which is an indicator that the interior also needs to be cleaned (I will tell you how to do in the next article in the week – how to clean the motherboard).

Some environments clean never be clean inside. Some need it monthly cleaning. When I lived in Russia, even if I did not notice, the air was not clean. The fan on your computer would be cake with dirt and grime after about one month of use. And so I would have to clean the fan, vents, and within monthly. If I had let it go for several months without cleaning, the fan would have stopped working and the computer would have overheated. Where now lives in the United States, the air is clean and I went years without cleaning. Once again, the indicator of this is the fan blades and openings. If they are dirty, they need to be cleaned.

You can do some cleaning from the outside. First, turn off your computer. Then get out the vacuum and cleaning using the tube, vacuum vents and the fan (s). If you have compressed air (you can buy compressed air from your computer shop), you may want to blow air through ventilation openings (or suction if you have one) to loosen dust and suck out using a vacuum. If there is still dust or dirt in the mouths or blades of the fan, you can use a Q-tip to clean.

If you do not have a vacuum, you can only use compressed air. Always use short bursts to avoid the accumulation of moisture. We start with the computer off and blow in every hole and mouth. Then turn on your computer and hit on everything except for the fan exhaust once more.

The case clean, the computer will be pleasant and with the fan vents and swept away, it will be easier to breathe and run cooler.
